Card display idea for new craft room
I LOVE to repurpose items from around the house, and I came across this chain that used to hang stuffed animals up in the craft room (formerly known as the playroom). I just put the rubberized cup hook post through the center of the flower and attached it into the ceiling. Instant display for all my cherished cards from family and friends! Now that's a lot easier than building a craft table. If you didn't happen to have saved one of these from like ten years ago, you could use jute, cording, or clothesline and clothespins to fashion a similar device. Just an idea, since I haven't tried those out firsthand:)

More staining
I am adding more coats of stain .It requires hand rubbing the finish in between coats. I am going for a chocolate cherry finish in the end product.
table edge detail
I used My Skil sander to round all the edges and cut detail into the square dowels added to corners to match the oak molding.
I am making a standing height craft table
I had Lowe's cut the 3/4 inch birch plywood to 4'x6', and added oak molding as the trim around the table to make it look thicker. I bought just enough molding for straight cuts, and then added 3/8 inch hardwood dowels to the corners. Attached all of it with finishing nails and wood glue.

Flooring is in!
Dad and I painted the baseboards high gloss bright white, and the floor is Quintessa by Formica. Dalarna Birch. Great job by the installers:)
