If you want to join in, head over to my class that starts Monday! I have five process videos, one for each lesson of the class, included! Let me know what you think and I can't wait to have you join in!
Super simple to fill in as the book is hardcover and already bound for you!
I love the vellum pages and alternating card stock pages!
They are available at Michael's Arts and Crafts Store.
I chose to follow along with the prompts fromCitrus Twist Kits and use the Christmas Daily Kits #1 and #2 for this project. Stamps are from Feed Your Craft.
Prompt #1 from the CTK Facebook Fan Page: Make a shaker pocket.
I used my Fuse tool to heat seal a trimmed to size page protector. I cut it to the same size as my photo, 4x5. Filled it with interesting textures like sequin snowflakes, acrylic snowflakes, patterned paper, and wood veneer. Most supplies from CTK( Citrus Twist Kits).
The shaker pocket was adhered with strong tape, like Scor-tape, under the snowflake washi.
You can see the aqua ink I used to stamp the Feed Your Craft word "December". Love that font!
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your December memories!
The November release from Kellie Stamps is amazing guys!
So many stamp sets!
I made two projects with mine, and this is the second one.
I used my laser printer and the Minc Machine to gold foil the tree from "Grinch Moment" digital stamp set. The "Merry" title is from the digital "Merry Joy" set.
Ah, the gold foil! So easy to do with digital stamps! This is based on the very latestStudio Calico Sketch from the Studio Calico Blog. Using the Lollipop Guild Scrapbook Kit from Studio Calico. Inspired by the lovely Anna Maria Wolniak here .
Love those vellum embellishments from the Lollipop Guild Kit, and just stapled them with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.
This will be my last post as a Clique Kits Design Team member.

for "Lots of Layers" and the theme for this week: vehicles.
I love this challenge! I'll be honest. At first I was having a hard time with the vehicles part of the challenge. I mean, I could only find about four photos of our cars from the last 20 years! Then it hit me. Look at what story you want to tell. That began with a question.
"What memories are centered around our cars?"
We bring babies and groceries home in them, travel on family road trips, go out on dates, and to church on Sunday, and hop in them to start our lives together after the wedding with streamers flailing and cans rattling! After I found the 1950 photo of my Grandma and Papa, holding my Mom, I realized I could tell the story of our family cars over the last 66 years! OF course you don't need to span that broad of a timeframe. Brainstorm all the memories associated with your vehicles, and see how your story unfolds.
I really loved the mod feel of the 1950 photo, so I went with a 1950's inspired color scheme. The Starshine "Juno" paper had the perfect motif! The repeating diamonds on the left side of the layout utilize the tone on tone patterns from Shimelle's lines. Love the subtle effect! So thankful to my Grandma for being the faith leader in our family, and for so many wonderful years of kindness, gentleness, love, peace, joy, patience, goodness, and inspiration! Two hand squeezes means "I love you", and is something she taught me that I have passed down to my kids!
To keep the layout clean, I wanted to house all six color photos in the glassine bag with the journaling. I hand cut random size tags from the True Stories 6x6 pad. The crochet thread allows you to easily pull the tags out of the bag to read and view.
Lots of layers were used figuratively and literally, in the layers of time represented, and the tons of paper strips used behind the focal point photo. I also added more layers with True Stories word stickers, die cuts, and an epoxy paper clip from Starshine.
In the end, this page took me a lot longer than usual to create, but it was so worth it! I can't believe I have never realized how substantial the family vehicle is in our lives! Think about your life and the story you want to tell for future generations, and maybe even find a story you didn't know was there!

Thank you so much to Shimelle, for coming up with these challenges! If not for this challenge, I would not have this page that I cherish so much, and I am so thankful!l
I would love to see your take on this week's challenge! Share your link at the Facebook Group "Scrapbook Like A Superhero" or at Shimelle.com and happy creating!
Full Project: Traveler's Notebook spread on two pages, using the digital version of "Eat More Cake" to create my own patterned paper in Adobe Photoshop. Printed on copy paper on my home printer to create the "Happy" background. Also printed the "Birthday" banner on the right with this digital set. The three photos on the left all go in the craft sack pocket.
Supplies: Midori Traveler's Notebook (02 Grid), Kellie Stamps"Eat More Cake" , DailyLike banana leaf washi tape, Studio Calico wood patterned paper, craft sack from Hobby Lobby, We R Memory Keepers Nesting Star Dies.
Love that these versatile stamps can be used for all kinds of everyday and event photos, as you can see from the rest of the Kellie Stamps Creative Team posts! Look for Kellie Stamps on Instagram and follow to see the Creative Team projects.
You can see here I took the colors for this layout from the photo on the right. Got that 70's retro vibe going!
Thank you for visiting here today and enjoy your weekend!
I got four layouts and two process videos from this month's versatile Clique Kits August 2016 Rio Kit, featuring Fancy Pants Designs "Millie and June", and Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Colour Me Happy" .
Got stamps? Then, you can make your own patterned paper! Just repeat stamp until you have covered enough area, and then apply any color ink that coordinates with your layout. I used the Hero Arts Ombre Ink to stamp and the Ranger Distress Ink to blend with an Ink Blending Tool.
Then, hand cut your chevron, arrow quill shapes using the first one as a template.
Add a combination of straight and zig zag stitching, and lift up the edges of each shape for more dimension. Notice, there are three rows of shapes and four rows of stamping. That comes out to seven, since our eyes crave odd numbers in design.
Close up of the title and photo area. Love how the "Totally" title looks when stamped! Like it has been brush lettered! I used the Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
Next stop on the hop is the talented Kim! Have fun, and review the list below if you get lost!
